AN arthritis charity will use a conference in Edinburgh to warn that it is not only elderly people who are affected by the disease.
The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society will hold a summit on September 11 at the Thistle Foundation in Craigmillar. Ailsa Bosworth, chief executive and founder of NRAS, said: "There is still a perception that rheumatoid arthritis is a disease of the elderly, but this isn't the case.

"This debilitating disease can impact on people of all ages including children."
