BOSSES at the King's Theatre have promised that next week's performance of Single Spies will go on, despite the break-up of actor Jack Ryder's marriage.
The play starts on Monday, starring former EastEnders actor Ryder and veteran Nigel Havers. Fears had been raised that 26-year-old Ryder may pull out after the break up of his six-year marriage to wife Kym, a Coronation Street actress and ex-pop star.

However, a spokesman for the King's said: "We are obviously disappointed to hear the news and our thoughts are with Jack at this difficult time.

"However, as far as we are concerned, the show will take place next week as planned. We have heard nothing to the contrary and are looking forward to what should be a successful run.

Ryder, who played Jamie Mitchell in EastEnders, married ex-HearSay singer Kym in 2002 following a year-long romance.
