KENNY RICHEY has flown back to the United States for the first time since being freed from Death Row to visit his dying father.
The £800 flight is reportedly being paid for by former Blue Peter presenter Diane-Louise Jordan, who is now a life coach and Richey's mentor.

When he found out his 70-year-old father Jim, who has battled prostate cancer for four years, had only days to live, Ms Jordan offered to pay for the trip.

Richey, who has said the thought of going back to America has left him "shaking with fear", will also visit ex-wife Wendy, son Sean, and see his two grandchildren, Taliyah and Taiton.

He insist he will return to Scotland where he has been charged over an alleged handbag theft.
