NORWICH Union is to send more work overseas, affecting staff at a Scottish office.
Owner Aviva said around 70 customer accounts-based positions at Norwich Union Direct were being created offshore, as part of a strategy to have up to 7000 jobs in India and Sri Lanka by 2007.
The move will affect 60 staff at Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, although Aviva said there would be no redundancies as employees would be given other roles.
