Staffordshire : A cash-strapped hospital is sending correspondence to be typed in India as it cannot afford to hire experienced medical secretaries.
Letters are dictated digitally, sent for typing and transmitted back within 24 hours.

London: A 15-year-old girl is fighting for life and five others were seriously injured after a car hit a group of people mourning the deaths of two pupils in a rail crash.

The accident occurred at a makeshift memorial at the pupils' school gates in north London yesterday.
