THE city's homeless people are to be given free sun cream in time for this summer's predicted hot weather.
The Co-operative Pharmacy has teamed up with the Sunwise organisation to supply free factor 30 sun cream and after-sun lotion to the homeless, following a successful pilot in Cardiff.

Homeless people will be able to pick up their cream at the Dunedin Canmore Housing Association offices in Parliament Street.

Gordon Farquhar, commercial director of The Co-operative Pharmacy, said: "For many of us, slapping on the sun cream is as synonymous with summer as ice cream and days at the beach. However, for the UK's homeless people, sun protection is an unaffordable commodity."
