Hogmanay to link city allies

A FILM featuring the Hogmanay celebrations is being made to celebrate diversity and strengthen links between Edinburgh and Leicester.

Ayaz Sheikh has been making the documentary over the past 17 months. They are also covering the Edinburgh Mela festival and have interviewed local MPs and community leaders.

Mr Sheikh, who runs the Leicester-based voluntary group SSCOM, said they hoped to build a friendship between the two cities. The finished DVD will be distributed to councils, police forces and local media.
