Holly Bostock, 20, a student from the New Town, names her top five shopping destinations in Edinburgh.
Armstrongs, Grassmarket and Clerk Street. There's such a variety of clothes here and it's a bit of a treasure hunt. The good bargains are at a much lower price compared to London.

The Rusty Zip, Teviot Place. I love how retro and vintage this place is. It's well positioned near uni to tempt me in between lectures.

H&M, Princes Street. Their clothes are really up-to-date. I'd go here to buy both classic basics and brighter, more eye-catching extras.

Various charity shops, Nicolson Street. There are some hidden gems and you find decent, cheap things that are quite unusual.

Zara, Princes Street. I go to Zara for clothes of good quality and it's perfect for suits and smart basics. You can also find the odd fun pair of pumps.
