Simon Robertson, 35, a bank worker from Musselburgh, lists his favourite places to get a fruit smoothie.
Thyme, Lothian Road. What a treat on a lunchtime when you're feeling a bit under the weather to nip into this friendly establishment.

Hula Juice Bar, Tollcross. Packed with fruit, this place is great if you're looking for a liquid breakfast to set you up for the day.

Juice Almighty, Castle Street. If you're trying to get through the day after the night before, I would recommend the Hangover Heaven.

Iglu, Jamaica Street. If you fancy something more wholesome than a glass of wine with your lunch, the staff will make you a juice or a smoothie to order.

Juiced Up, Ocean Terminal. When I'm having to endure a shopping trip with my wife, I like to keep my energy up by ordering a smoothie from here.
