Duncan Edward Butler, 20, a history and politics student from Marchmont, names his top five delis in Edinburgh
Peckham's, South Clerk Street and Bruntsfield Place. This is perfect for students who are looking for something of higher quality than your average snack.

Peter's Yard, Quartermile. This Swedish artisan shop offers something different. Amazing pastries and gorgeous coffees and you know that everything is made from scratch.

Valvona & Crolla, Elm Row and Multrees Walk. I absolutely love going here for a nice panini if I'm on Princes Street shopping. Their cupcakes are delicious, even if not cheap.

Victor Hugo, Melville Terrace. This is a perfect place to have a Sunday morning coffee and have a read of a newspaper, while enjoying a delicious brownie.

Fuel Deli, Marchmont Road. This is a great place to grab a sandwich on the go at a reasonable price, made with fresh ingredients.
