Polyclinics 'not a cure for NHS'

GOVERNMENT plans for "polyclinics" will not ease pressure on NHS hospitals, a new report warned today
Polyclinics are designed to bring together groups GPs with a range of services, such as diagnostic testing, minor surgery, blood tests and X-rays.

But today's study, from the King's Fund, concluded the super-surgeries will mean patients are forced to travel further without seeing any improvement in care.

Yep, just because the concept works in other countries is no reason to believe it'll work in the UK.

Let's, instead, keep doing what we've always done. Maybe it'll work this time.
