GRETNA caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth revealed there was still hope of survival after the club's last Clydesdale Bank Premier League game ended in a dramatic win.
Gavin Skelton, by far the club's longest-serving player, fired Gretna to a 1-0 win over Hearts with the last kick of the ball at Fir Park.

Gretna now need a buyer by the weekend to prevent the administrators from winding up the relegated club. Wadsworth has, however, been given an indication that a potential takeover could still happen.

"I've heard a whisper, there is a package that has come together in the last couple of days. (It looks) better than things have looked in the last couple of weeks," he said. "But I don't know the details. I am as much in the dark as you. What is sure is that most of us will be out of work in the next couple of weeks. If the club survives, it will be a fresh start."
