ONLINE gambling firm Sportingbet today said it will take a £210 million hit this year following its withdrawal from the US market in the wake of the crackdown on internet gaming.
The firm was forced to sell its US arm for just $1 hours before George Bush approved a law banning internet cash gaming. But the firm reported operating profits were up 70.2 per cent to £103m.
