ar. Star opened the scoring in the 39th minute when Roseburgh found Meaney on the edge of the box and his shot flew past Carlin into the roof of the net. Two minutes before the break, Fraser Love was red-carded for a rash tackle. Nicolson was carried off 12 minutes after the break with ligament damage and was replaced by Easton. Newtongrange doubled their score in the 69th minute when Thomson unleashed a drive from 30 yards and it screamed into the Thistle net.

Paddy Flannery headed home to reduce the deficit at half-time. Charlie Brigain scored a third for Bonnyrigg but Flannery replied from the spot. A Steve Graham own goal made it four before Flannery completed his hat-trick to end the scoring.

Fauldhouse substitute David Connell scored the goal of the game in the 81st minute to complete the scoring.
