BATHGATE THISTLE coach Alan Lawrence today described his side's clash with Pollok in the semi-finals of the Citylink Scottish Junior Cup as "tough but winnable".
The Creamery Park outfit were drawn against the favourites yesterday and would probably have preferred a meeting with either Cumnock or Thornton Hibs.

However, ex-Hearts striker Lawrence said: "Every game at this stage is tough but this game is winnable. We know that they are a very good side but we've shown this season that so are we and it's up to us to play to our best.

"We are just one game away from the biggest match in junior football and that is a massive incentive."

Draw: Cumnock v Thornton Hibs; Pollok v Bathgate Thistle. Ties to be played on either April 11 or 18 at a neutral venue.
