Ant and dec’s saturday night takeaway
Scottish, 7.10PM
Having gone down a storm with the third series of I’m A Celebrity recently, the ubiquitous Byker Grove veterans are back for more engaging entertainment.
Live from The London Studios every Saturday, there’s a welcome return for Little Ant & Dec, the mini versions of the presenters, who will be hobnobbing with international superstars, armed with a bundle of cheeky questions to ask the unsuspecting celebrities.
Last series Kylie chased them round the room, they made Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock try on ridiculous comedy glasses, and gave George Clooney a bottle of hair dye.
Plus Ant and Dec will be going undercover again, donning astonishing disguises as they transform themselves into a variety of weird and wonderful characters in a bid to dupe famous faces into thinking they are anyone but Ant and Dec.
In the last run they managed to fool none other than Simon Cowell by auditioning for American Idol, Lorraine Kelly live while live on air, This Morning’s Fern and Phil, and the cast of Emmerdale. Expect more comic chaos in this week’s show.

THE 100 GREATEST FILMS
Channel 4, 9.15PM
It’s every cinema fan’s favourite pub argument — but, what is the greatest film of all time?
From Hollywood to Hebden Bridge, the debate has raged over a pint for years, but this two-part Channel 4 programme (the first was shown last week) ruined that traditional pastime. The station has, of course, been at the forefront of the trend for nostalgia programmes, broadcasting shows such as the Top Ten series, 100 Greatest Ads and 100 Greatest TV Moments from Hell. However, this countdown is arguably the best of the lot. Originally broadcast in 2001, the list was compiled from votes cast by users of the FilmFour website.
Here’s another chance to see the final 40 as Graham Norton introduces clips from memorable classics including Casablanca, Star Wars, Titanic, Gladiator, Psycho, It’s a Wonderful Life, The Wizard of Oz and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
However, we all know if a new version was produced today, The Lord of the Rings trilogy would occupy places in the top ten. Contributions come from Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee, Ridley Scott, Quentin Tarantino, Mike Leigh, Michael Caine and Sigourney Weaver.

They’re the man: behind the scenes of starsky and Hutch - the movie
Five, 11.30PM
It was only a matter of time before film-makers turned Starsky and Hutch into a big screen offering.
After all, the hit Seventies TV series left its mark on millions of viewers thanks to the chemistry between David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser.
Despite previous appearances in Star Trek and Dirty Harry thriller Magnum Force, Soul had found little success until he took the roles of Hutch. He was turned into an overnight star, and also scored some Top Ten smashes with the likes of Silver Lady and Don’t Give Up On Us Baby.
Glaser was able to embark on a career as a director, although The Running Man, Kazaam and The Cutting Edge failed to set the box office on fire. The show began as a gritty drama in 1975 and by the last series in 1979, it had turned into a camp farce, spawning board games, tee shirts and action figures.
The new film finds old friends Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller relishing the chance to play cops on the edge, and after an impressive opening weekend in the States, there is already talk of a sequel. This is a preview of the new action comedy, and features interviews with the stars, including Snoop Dogg who takes over the role of Huggy Bear from Antonio Fargas.

Scottish, 10.30PM
Spitting Image may now be just a happy memory but its spirit lives on in this wickedly funny series.
While the animation may be basic, the script is top drawer with more belly laughs per half hour than many similar shows manage in an entire series. Not that everyone is a fan.
Leslie Ash is still a soft target after her lip surgery went wrong, but that aside the rest of the gags on offer are usually delicious. This week, a nation mourns the loss of a valued member of the Royal family, leading to a Royal Corgi funeral, plus, a Victorian Sex and the City.
2DTV also provides additional material for what could be the fourth film in the Lord Of The Rings saga, as the great Saruman takes on David Blaine in the battle of the wizards.
Catch up with Ross, Monica, Chandler, Rachel, Joey and Phoebe now that they have gone their separate ways after the final series of Friends, and watch President Bush’s painful attempts to try and impress his Hollywood buddy, Governor Arnie.
