Petra Goodhall, 30, a florist from Bonnyrigg, lists her top five boutiques in Edinburgh.
Pam Jenkins, Thistle Street. I love this unassuming boutique which is always thronging with unusual designer shoes, bags and accessories.

Boudiche, Frederick Street. The girls here know their lingerie stuff, are helpful, but don't encroach on your personal space and the selection is second to none. Girlie heaven.

Sam Thomas, Stafford Street. It's affordable and has quirky fashion finds that aren't high street as well as cracking jewellery and bags. I currently love their scarves.

Bohemia, Roseneath Street. From unusual baby gifts to gorgeous costume jewellery, I've picked up many a gift here for girlfriends.

Andiamo, Forbes Road. Off the beaten track, this boutique offers great shoes and accessories. It's currently aimed towards the 35-plus market but there's cracking finds like a leather fitted jacket I recently bought.
