SCOTT ARFIELD believes there has been some benefit from the struggles he and the rest of the Falkirk players have experienced this season.
The Bairns are one win from completing a remarkable escape from relegation, and Arfield said: "Last season we were going for the top six and it was all hunky-dory. But we had been bottom of the league for a few months and you know the experience will make you a better player."

St Mirren could be relegated if they lose at Falkirk tomorrow and manager Gus MacPherson knows he faces one of the biggest games of his career.

He said: "We know that we're going into a game that we have to win and the players know that the club is the most important thing.

"Performances don't matter at this stage – it's all about getting three points."
