DOCUMENTARY producers in Edinburgh are being offered the chance to have their work promoted around the world.
Interdoc, a training programme for documentary producers, is looking for 12 ambitious producers, with a documentary project in development, who want to engage with the international market.

The programme is run by the Scottish Documentary Institute and Initialize Films.

Initialize created and ran the first course with great success in London in 2006, helping filmmakers get finance for their projects.

The course, to be held in September and October, is led by producer Rachel Wexler, who specialises in producing international feature documentaries for a worldwide audience and also represents award-winning filmmakers Nick Broomfield and Molly Dineen.

The deadline for applications is August 1 and more information can be found online at www.initialize-films.co.uk.
