The Princess Royal has been given a guided tour of Edinburgh's Zoo's £6 million chimp enclosure.
The new feature has been designed to replicate conditions at a primate research station in the Budongo Forest, in Uganda.

The Budongo Trail is being billed as the new "jewel in the crown" for the zoo and is expected to attract visitors in their droves when it opens to the public on May 1.

The zoo's 11 chimpanzees, previously housed in a basic outdoor enclosure, are now getting being housed in three private "zones", linked by tunnels, where behavioural experts will monitor how they react to their new environment.

Bone up
1. Informal. To study intensely, usually at the last minute: boned up for the final exam.

Bones up doesn't really fit in this case does it?

Why do we have to visit in our droves? I currently don't have one as it was stolen the other week.
