Fuel deliveries let buses steer clear of crisis
FUEL deliveries to the city's main bus company were almost back to normal today.
Lothian Buses said that it is now receiving its normal allocation of two tankers of fuel between its three operational depots every day.
Despite petrol and diesel delivery problems in the last week, it avoided any fuel shortages having an impact on services.
A spokesman for the company said: "Our fuel supply is almost back to what it should be, with two tankers a day going to our various depots.
"There has been no impact at all on our ability to operate the service. We had been told that our delivery would go back to normal on May 1 and we haven't heard anything to suggest it will change after today."
