Edinburgh Rugby have called up flanker Roddy Grant for head-injury victim Alan MacDonald as they look to post a club record six successive competitive wins at Cardiff in the Celtic League on Sunday.
Also missing is new British and Irish Lion Mike Blair who is rested ahead of the forthcoming tour of South Africa and replaced by Greig Laidlaw while changes from the side which defeated Dragons 43-3 last week are completed by including John Houston for Andy Turnbull, who reverts to the bench.

Houston scored the first of Edinburgh's four tries against Dragons following his emergence from the substitutes.

Edinburgh team Paterson, Houston, Cairns, De Luca, Webster, Godman. Laidlaw, Traynor, Ford, G Cross, C Hamilton, J Hamilton, Newlands, Hogg, Roddy Grant. Subs Southwell, Macleod, Ryan Grant, Meyer, Mustchin, Turnbull.
