WEST Lothian Council is seeking talks with an electronics company over job losses at a local factory.
Jabil Circuits, which employs around 350 people at Livingston's Oakbank business park, has announced a reduction of 79 in its workforce.

The announcement follows the news that SEH Europe plans to make 58 redundancies at its plant in Livingston.

Martyn Day, executive councillor for development and transport, said: "We will be seeking a meeting with the company to discuss the situation. We will also be working with our partners to support employees at this time."
