A SERIES of events celebrating the spirit of Leith are set to be held in one of the area's parks.
Community group Friends of Dalmeny Street Park are joining forces with the Out Of The Blue Drill Hall for the Leith Festival.

Activities on the day, entitled Parklife, include community gardening, a basketball tournament and football competitions. A food marquee will also be set up, as well as a poet's corner. Pet lovers will be able to take part in a dog show at the park on the following day.

Parklife takes place on Saturday, May 31, from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free of charge.

#1 Compliment rather than denigrate, people are trying to stifle the image that you and many others seem to think that Leith has. Give them credit.
