STARTLING images of Yemen captured by an Edinburgh photographer are to be put on show in a new exhibition in the Capital.
Photographer Aidan Stephen took the images during a recent visit to the Middle East. The retired soldier said: "No matter how good the photos may look, the real thing is even better. Nothing could have prepared me for the beauty and culture of Yemen."

The exhibition – A Gateway to Yemen – will go on show at the Voodoo Rooms, West Register Street, on Wednesday.
