MEMBERS of the 122nd Inverleith Comely Bank Scout Group were visiting a city garage recently to help complete their Mechanics badge.
Staff at Witherspoon Audi and Volkswagon Servicing and Repair Centre hosted a series of hands-on workshops for the Scouts to give them an understanding of car maintenance.

The tasks given to the youngsters included replacing wiper blades and bulbs, filling windscreen washers, the importance of correct tyre pressure and the details of what is involved in an MOT.

They were also given tips on safety around a working garage, and had the chance to speak to experienced mechanics about their work.
