A BID to build a new block of flats behind a former city cinema has been resubmitted for approval.
Duddingston House Properties has reapplied for planning permission for the scheme, which would see a four-storey apartment block built behind the old Odeon cinema on Clerk Street.

The plans were first submitted by the cinema chain in 2002 and approved; but as no work has been started in five years, new owner Duddingston has had to reapply to continue with the plans.

A public meeting over the plans is set for Nelson Hall, Spittalfield Crescent, at 7pm on Thursday.
