Fur protesters aim to block Capital sales
TWO city centre shops were targeted by anti-fur protesters aiming to stamp out the sale of fur in the Capital.
Edinburgh Fur Free City protesters campaigned outside the Emporio Armani store on Multrees Walk and The Pride of Scotland on Princes Street.
Carrying banners saying "fur is dead" and showing graphic images of dead animals, the campaigners aimed to alert customers and shop owners to the issue of animal cruelty.
Spokeswoman Varda Mehrotra said: "Because we were there, lots of people wouldn't go into the shops."
