AN AFRICAN forestry expert has visited Leith as part of a project run by a local organisation.
Francis Kahembwe, from Uganda, took part in the political shadowing scheme organised by Leith Open Space.

He spent the day with Labour’s environment spokeswoman Sarah Boyack.

He said: “I want to acquire knowledge and awareness on how politics impacts on the environment and then learn how to use that knowledge to influence my environmental policy.”
