A GLAMOROUS charity ball has raised £13,000 to help mothers suffering from postnatal depression.
The Bluebell Ball and auction at Prestonfield House was held to support a helpline giving advice to new parents.

Television presenter Marie-Clair McManus and comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli hosted the event on April 18. The charity says it is delighted with the amount of money raised.

It launched the telephone line, which will operate from the ParentLine Scotland call centre in the Capital, last month.

A spokeswoman said: "Over the last two years, the Bluebell Ball has made a real difference to those with postnatal depression in Scotland."
