A NURSING home carer sexually assaulted a 76-year-old woman as he was supposed to be washing and dressing her.
Joseph Sinja, 32, assaulted his victim at a council-owned care home in the Capital as she clung onto her walking frame.

The tearful pensioner was later found sitting in her room in pain and feeling "dirty and sick" by the ordeal.

Kenyan Sinja now faces deportation after appearing at the High Court in Edinburgh yesterday to admit the sex assault, which took place in April.

Advocate depute Alex Prentice QC told the court how the victim needed to be washed and dressed by staff at the home because of her health problems.

But while he was supposed to be washing her, Sinja took the partially-dressed pensioner by the hand, got her to hold onto her walking frame and assaulted her.

He ignored her pleas to "stop it" then calmly left the room.
