A NEW bus route to connect the thousands of people moving into Western Harbour with the city centre has started up.
The Lothian Buses number ten route runs from Leith to Torphin, via Princes Street.

Developers Forth Ports constructed a special turning circle at Western Harbour to accommodate the new service.

Nathan Thompson, managing director of Forth Ports, said: "We are delighted the transport links to Western Harbour have been improved with the addition of the number ten bus route.''

Bill Campbell, operations director of Lothian Buses, said: "It is vital that public transport is provided at an early stage in new developments such as Western Harbour and we are delighted to have been able to extend bus service ten."

How is amending a bus route that's been running since before I was born "a new bus route"?

The 10 has never run from Leith to Torphin, it has always went from Granton to Torphin, hence why it had Granton as the destination. Do these beggars at the Snooze never check ANYTHING. Cheesus!

#2 When was the last time you travelled to Granton on a number 10 bus? It terminates at Newhaven and has done for quite some time, hence why it has Newhaven as its destination.

LRT keep swapping the No 10 & 16 routes. One year one goes to Silverknowes, a couple of years later, they swap them round to confuse everyone !
