THE owners of two popular bistros in Leith have sold their businesses after deciding to take a break from the city’s restaurant trade.
Gavin and Karen Ferguson have sold Skippers Seafood Bistro and the Waterfront Wine Bar and Grill, both on Leith’s Waterfront, as they look at other ventures in the Capital.

The restaurants have been bought by Archie & Richie, the company owned by Edinburgh entrepreneurs Peter Knight and John Tindal, who operate A Room in the Town in Howe Street and A Room in the West End in William Street.

Christie & Co, which oversaw the sale, did not disclose how much the restaurants had been sold for.
