POPULAR crime writer Quintin Jardine is to lead a literary discussion event at a Lothian library next month.
The writer, who is best known for his series of novels featuring detective Bob Skinner, will meet fans and discuss his work at Port Seton library on May 7.

Librarian Irene Muir said: "We're absolutely delighted he's coming here. He's not plugging a new book or talking about a particularly subject."

The author is well-known in East Lothian, as he previously lived in Gullane and is married to a former Longniddry primary school teacher.
