PHIL TAYLOR powered into the quarter-finals of the PartyBets.com Grand Slam of Darts with a crushing 10-4 win over Gary Mawson.
The 13-times world champion proved too strong for the American and never looked back after opening up a 4-1 lead.

Kevin Painter produced a superb display to come back from 4-1 and 6-4 down to edge past Mervyn King 10-7.
