Renwick's in Broxburn has been bought for an undisclosed figure by Edinburgh-based pub operators the West family.

Barry McNeil, associate director at Christie & Co, said: "The sale highlights the fact that good quality public houses are continuing to attract interest and sales are still taking place," adding a good quality pub "will sell whatever the prevailing market conditions".
