THE price of oil has surged to another new record - and oil production cartel Opec expects more rises before the end of the year.
The price of Brent crude for August delivery on the London-based ICE Futures Exchange increased to $145.75 a barrel before easing back slightly.

But Opec said it expects the price to reach $170 a barrel before the end of the year.

The latest increase follows on from a combination of concerns over a weak US dollar, surging oil demand and fears about supply disruptions in the Middle East and Africa.

in (u .s news and world report) it said that by the year 2016 wheat in arabia will be down from 40.mil to 0.30 . arabia has srarted looking to other nation including the u.s.a. for wheat .other grains in arbia are down as well .i think it would be only fair that we charge them $200.00 a bushel for any wheat or grain they need .also , if it is found out that speculators are behind all these price hikes they should be treated as terroists .just becuse there is no law against what they are doing dose not mean its ok that they do it .no law against yelling fire but you cant do it if there is no fire and people get hurt or die.
