A FORMER HBOS manager has been named as the new chief executive of Prudential in the UK and Europe.
Rob Devey, who will succeed Nick Prettejohn in September this year, joins from Lloyds Banking Group, where he has worked since 2002 in a number of senior leadership roles.

He was formerly based in the Capital, as managing director of HBOS Financial Services and managing director of HBOS General Insurance.

Mark Tucker, group chief executive of Prudential, said: "Rob has clearly demonstrated his capability in complex leadership roles and I look forward to welcoming him to the group."
