BRITNEY SPEARS is the image of motherhood the majority of Edinburgh dads compared their partners to in a recent survey.
The "slummy mummy" category, which Britney is said to fit into, came top of the list for dads questioned by baby feeding brand Avent.

But the Capital's mums questioned preferred to see themselves as the more traditional Nigella Lawson, choosing the "stay-at-home mummy" as the category they most identified with.

And the city has the highest percentage of Nigella wannabes, with 53 per cent of mums picking the famous cook as their ideal role model.

Tony Blair was robbed of the "slummy daddy" title by just one other eager competitor - Britney's rapping, partying other half Kevin Federline.
