AN EDINBURGH swimming pool has been closed after a glass panel fell from the roof and hit a swimmer.
All classes at the Warrender Swim Centre have been cancelled while a full investigation is carried out.

The man in his 20s was struck at about 3pm yesterday at the Thirlestane Road baths.

Edinburgh Leisure, which runs the Victorian pool said a full investigation was now underway.

A spokeswoman said: "We are aware that there has been an incident at Warrender Swim Centre which has resulted in the temporary closure of the pool, all swimming lessons being cancelled and the gym being closed.

"Unfortunately, this incident has also resulted in injury to one of our customers.

"A full investigation is taking place and we have no further information at this moment in time."
