A MAN in a Hallowe'en mask threatened staff with a knife and made off with cash from a city bookmakers last night.
Police in Edinburgh are appealing for information following the robbery at the Ladbrokes in Kingsknowe Road North in the Longstone area.
The incident happened at around 9.15pm.

g a knife, and demanded cash from the two staff members in the shop.
The suspect obtained a three-figure sum of money, and fled in the direction of the Longstone Inn pub.
He is described as 6ft tall, slim build, with a local accent, and wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, along with the mask.
A police spokesman said: "While they weren't injured, the two shop assistants were left understandably shaken, and we are keen for any information that can assist our enquiries.
"Anyone who was in the area at around the time the robbery took place, who noticed anyone acting suspiciously, should contact police immediately.
"Similarly, anyone who recognises the description of the suspect, or who has any information regarding his identity, should also get in touch."
