DAVID HAYE'S camp have offered to switch his proposed fight against WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko to Germany after the prospects of holding it in London faded.
Former cruiserweight champion Haye had seemingly been close to agreeing a deal to fight the Ukrainian in London in June but after minor details initially held up discussions, it now appears the fight could be shelved entirely if agreement between the fighters' respective management teams is not reached quickly.

Haye is determined to make the fight and is prepared to sacrifice a bout on home soil to take to the ring in Germany, where Klitschko is based, if that is what it takes.

"David will fight Wladimir anywhere they choose, and give them the two rematch options they have requested," Haye's trainer and manager Adam Booth said.

"In regards to the rematches clause, I am baffled as to why (Klitschko co-manager Bernd) Bonte seems to have forgotten our last conversation about this.

"We said they could have the two rematches they wanted, which effectively means David's next three fights could be in Germany against either Wladimir or Vitali Klitschko. David doesn't want to dodge Wladimir."
