CLAIMS that a UFO landed in Lothian in 1979 will be among the incidents to be probed in a project.
Nick Pope, who looked into UFOs for the Ministry of Defence, and Philip Mantle, formerly of the British UFO Research Association, are putting together a database. Among the incidents they will revisit is that of a forestry worker who claimed to have seen a UFO in woods near Livingston.

It was 1979, and it was near Livingston. It was probably just a car, and the poor yokel didn't realise what it was.
