A BOMB blast outside the German Embassy in Kabul killed at least two soldiers this morning.
The suicide car bomb killed two US soldiers and injured 12 more in the attack outside a US base and the German Embassy in the Afghan capital.

Two Afghans were also killed and 23 wounded.

The Taliban claimed responsibility and said the bomber targeted German military personnel.

The German Embassy shares a small, two-lane road with Camp Eggers, which serves as the headquarters for soldiers training Afghan police and army personnel.
