A SERIES of events are being held by Edinburgh University to mark the 300th anniversary of the Union between Scotland and England.
Leading scholars and commentators are holding talks and debates on the controversial origins of the treaty, the consequences of the Anglo-Scottish relationship, and nationalism and devolution in the late-20th Century.

The next debate will be held at the McEwan Hall, on February 13, at 6pm.
