US president George Bush has been taken ill at the G8 summit in Germany.
He was said to have come down with a stomach ailment and was resting in his room.

But the White House issued a statement saying Mr Bush's illness was "not serious".

President's spokesman Dan Bartlett said Mr Bush's doctor was monitoring the president's health and Mr Bush hoped to rejoin the other leaders at the summit.

The president was able to go ahead with an hour-long meeting with French President Nicolas Sarkozy in his room.

Mr Bartlett joked that Bush was staying in his room because he didn't want to follow in the footsteps of his father, former President George HW Bush.

Mr Bush's father became ill and collapsed in the international spotlight in January 1992 during a summit in Tokyo.

Meanwhile, the summit has agreed on a programme worth more than £30 billion to combat the spread of HIV/Aids in Africa.

Germany's development minister gave news of the pledge before the last day of talks between the G8 leaders got under way.

Now, I wonder why? This potential war criminal must surely - in a civilised world - face a future war crime trial ,along with the poodle Blair. Was Bush afraid off the *cheering* crowds of supporters from Europe waiting to give him an historic welcome? Or was it too late to stage manage?

#5-wattie-I highly doubt bush was "afraid" of the cheering crowd. He faces a crowd like that in washington dc all the time.

Yep, he faces crowd like that all the time - and is too bloody stupid and pig-headed to understand that the vast majority of the entire universe believes he and his croneys are complete and utter twonks!

Ah, ha! The entire universe? I always suspected that Wally wasn't the only Zork that survived the crash of The Spirit of Alpha Centauri, outside of Roswell, NM. Now we have solid evidence.

Isn't always like that, the last guy in wants to slam the door. You seem like a good hearted person, despite the slam on W. Besides, I kinda like the term, "twonk." Did you coin that?

Funny, the American press has not come out with democracy and fighting terrorists on this. They missed an opportunity or perhaps the Terrorist blame game is overworked even for them.

What happened to the person chosen to taste his food before him? Were the Germans paying him back for touching the chancellor at a past meeting?

You are obviously new here, so here is a little bit of advice that may make your time here better.

Posting one word replies is never a good thing,

As far as your post at 30 goes, the person to whom it is directed will find it impossible to work out if you are claiming that,
a) you are a whore, or
b) you want to be a whore, or perhaps
c) that your mother is a whore.
I'm sure you can see where it would be confusing, for your own sake it would be better if you you could provide more information........

It's funny, about a week ago a new poster, never seen before tried to say I was Djookers, and now you, also never seen before ask the same question.
I have to wonder, are you the same person? and more importantly how you could possibly be on friendly terms with someone you could not have met before.

I understand that getting your first post up on the board can give a youngster a certain pubescent excitement, and I will put your bad spelling down to that.
