Squirrel tsar appointed

A RED squirrel tsar has been drafted in to help their numbers recover in Scotland.
Mel Tonkin, who has been made Scottish Squirrel Survey Co-ordinator by Scottish Natural Heritage, will work with local communities to help safeguard red squirrels and will also co-ordinate a national survey of the species.
