BAINFIELD get the opportunity to break their duck in the A section of the indoor bowls Premier League with home advantage against Blantyre at the Hutchison Crossway stadium, Gorgie, tomorrow (2.00pm).
Blantyre come to the Capital as joint leaders having won every game so far this term.

Midlothian are only two points better off than Bainfield and take on fellow strugglers Lanarkshire at Dalkeith. Team manager Frank Gray rings the changes with co
usins Kevin and Daniel McDougall brought in along with teenager Calum Crawford.

The rinks skipped by Billy Peacock and Willie Rankin remain unchanged.

East Lothian top the B section along with Coatbridge and are hot favourites to extend their undefeated record to four games when they entertain Aberdeen at the Meadowmill stadium.

Paul Foster's debut last weekend against West Lothian attracted a packed stadium at the Tranent venue and the continued presence of the three-time world champion is again expected to generate great interest. Selectors have made two changes with Dougie Berwick and club champion James Hogg returning to the exclusion of Stuart Wyllie and John Stevenson.

If West Lothian are to get back in touch after two defeats they need a win tomorrow and with home advantage at Livingston the odds are in their favour against undefeated Coatbridge.

Ewan Wilson was tipped to make a return but it is the more experienced Ian Drysdale that comes in to play lead to Graeme Archer.

Portobello are aiming to make it a hat-trick of wins in the Division 2B and the team that travels to Stirling is unchanged from the one that triumphed at Teviotdale last weekend.

That was a match that saw Stuart Betts lose by four shots and Ian Fleming by one, while Darren McKenny finished peels and Andrew Caldwell skipped Jamie Reid, Daniel Gormley and Robert Wood to a ten-shot win.

Balbardie collapsed to a damaging 82-77 defeat at home to West of Scotland last weekend having surrendered a 27-shot lead and they make changes for the visit of Cumbernauld to Bathgate tomorrow.

Diz Drysdale comes in and Ian Drysdale drops out, but there are lots of rink switches as a result of Ewan Shearer shipping an amazing 22 shots without reply on the run in against WoS.
