BRUCE CROALL (City of Edinburgh) shrugged off chilly conditions in the latest round of the Meadowbank National Track League last night to complete his preparations for this weekend's DHL Edinburgh Grand Prix at the same venue with three wins.
Croall, who will be the leading home challenger against international opposition, chalked up successes in the 12 lap scratch, Devil Take The Hindmost and four kilometre event with sprints to extend his lead at the top of the league.

Kate Cullen (Braveheart Cycling Fund) also limbered up for a busy weekend when she returned to familiar territory after several weeks away.

Meanwhile, Edinburgh-based British Criterium champion James McCallum (Plowman Craven) makes his return to circuit racing when he competes tonight in Staffordshire.

The Commonwealth Games medallist returned from injury last week. Tonight's one hour, fast-paced event gives him an opportunity to gauge his fitness ahead of the defence of his British title.
