Tynecastle 3,
Craigroyston 1.

ROBERT ALLUM set up the opening goal for Tynecastle when his cutback was met by Robbie Arthur and the home side almost added an immediate second but Weir made an excellent save to keep out Steven McCormack.
The visitors took advantage to equalise through Sean Martin after his original shot had been saved, and Chris Bain's follow up was cleared off the line.

Martin almost gave his side the lead on the hour mark but was forced wide after rounding John Gilbertson and his cutback found no takers. Soon afterwards, he shot over when well placed.

Visitors Craigroyston continued to create the best chances and Chris Bain was just unable to head home Martin's cross before they had strong claims for a penalty when Martin appeared to be brought down.

And they were made to pay moments later when Allum found space in the box to round Weir and score. Allum clinched the points in the closing minutes amidst strong claims for offside, again, rounding Weir to net.

Craigroyston: Weir, Jeffrey, Morrison (J McKenzie), Paterson, R McKenzie, Lawson, Manson, Hay, Hare, Bain, Martin. Subs: Clancy, Johnston, Binnie, Mortimer.
